Jan Daniluk represented the Laboratory of Intracellular Ion Channels at the 25th FEBS Young Scientists’ Forum (YSF) and the 50th Congress of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS), following an invitation from the event organizers. During the visit, he presented a poster entitled “Mitochondrial potassium channels as sensors and regulators of redox signaling,” showcasing the latest progress of a novel research project conducted jointly with partners from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
The events, organized in collaboration between the Netherlands Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NVBMB) and FEBS, took place in the Dutch cities of Wageningen and Maastricht from 2 to 8 July 2026 and brought together 1,417 scientists from 73 countries. At the Laboratory of Ion Channel Research, we place great emphasis on strengthening our international network to increase the impact of our research and pave the way for future collaborations, and we are proud to have been part of these high-profile events.
