On October 30, 2023, at 11:00, in the Hall of Maria Skłodowska-Curie at the Faculty of Chemistry, Warsaw University, located at Pasteur St 1 in Warsaw, Aleksandra Buta successfully defended her doctoral dissertation. The title of her dissertation was „Preparation, Purification, and Characterization of Selected Potassium Channels in Lipid Liquid Crystal Phases.”
The dissertation was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Renata Bilewicz from Warsaw University and Prof. Adam Szewczyk from the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, Polish Academy of Sciences. The reviewing panel included Prof. Łukasz Półtorak from the University of Lodz, Prof. Maciej Szaleniec from the J. Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences, and Prof. Kazimierz Trębacz from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.
