28th Krakow Conference on Endothelium & 10th Cardiovascular Research Days took place on December 12-14, 2022 in Krakow, at the International Cultural Center. A series of conferences, recently named Krakow Conference on Endothelium, was initiated by Prof. Ryszard Gryglewski, and then, for many years, organized by Prof. Stefan Chłopicki. The „Cardiovascular Research Days” conferences were organized every two years by Prof. Bruno Podesser (Medical University of Austria). It was decided to combine the long-standing traditions of both series of conferences from Krakow and Vienna and they were organized together: the 28th Krakow Conference on Endothelium & 10th Cardiovascular Research Days, devoted to many aspects of the broadly understood topic of vascular endothelium and cardiovascular diseases in the field of clinical and basic and entitled „Vascular Inflammation in Aging and Diseases: from bench to bed and back”. Laboratory of Intracellular Ion Channels was represented by Barbara Kalenik, Bogusz Kulawiak, Antoni Wrzosek and Adam Szewczyk.
